A Man Feeding Swans in the Snow, Marcin Ryczek, Poland
I chose this photo because of the intense contrast between the left and right frames. The singularity of the man and the vast number of birds in front of him creates a sublime effect. One's eyes are immediately brought to the center of the photo where the man is feeding the swans. The photo is split into a 2 x 3 horizontal composition. The image was probably taken with a normal lens because it is very flat. It also seems to have been exposed for the perfect about of time, allowing you to clearly see the waves in the water.
