This photograph caught my eye at first because of the stark contrast in the shadows and the man with his back to us. It was interesting to me how the shadows formed the lines splitting the photograph into a 2 by 3 vertical composition. Further looking at it, i really liked the use of depth of field, making the unimportant chain blurry and focusing on the man leaving. The concentration on shadow and focus makes this a strong photograph for me.
